Jim Barham

Estimator

Jim Barham has successfully completed projects that range from 1000 square feet to over 100,000 square feet, with contract values that range from $100,000 to multimillion dollars. Jim is responsible for all preconstruction estimates, soliciting proposals & awarding contracts. He brings over 40 years of construction experience in estimating, planning and project management to Slater & Son. Over that time Jim has successfully completed hundreds of projects and is experienced in many facets of the construction industry.

As an estimator, Jim’s responsibility is to provide a forecast of construction cost prepared based on a detailed analysis of materials and labor for all items of work. He began his construction career in 1977 as an apprentice carpenter and his hands-on experience in the field is an asset to his project management skills. He has been with Slater & Son since 2006.
